Fred Kennedy is returning to the winery to play for us on Saturday, October 26 from 2pm-5pm. If you missed Fred the first time he was here, now is your chance to catch the delightful show he puts on. He plays a mix of everyone’s favorites and everyone had a great time the first time he played. This will be the FINAL live music event of the year.
We will be CLOSED Thursday, Oct 31 in observance of glorious Halloween. It is a great holiday, especially for the kiddos, and we want to make sure and spend the evening with ours. Please note that we will not be open on Thursdays in November or December (fall hours).
Celebrate the fall season with us at the winery! This will be our final “music and food” event of the year. Music by “Sarah and Mark” from 1pm-4pm (first time to the winery!) and we welcome a NEW food truck to the winery- “Mac and Cheese'“ Heimsoth. This isn’t his official name, but hopefully it will catch on. Food will available noon-5pm.
Cheers to cooler weather, falling leaves, and grapes going from vine to wine: Harvestivities!
We are pleased to welcome another newcomer to our winery!
Frank plays regularly with most of his performances at vineyards and wineries in the KC area. He entertains with his voice and a unique finger-picking style on acoustic guitar. He plays pop, rock, country & original music.
Most of Frank's original music captures his life experiences with family and he has recorded 5 CDs of original work.
Although he plays a mix of several genres, his favorite artists are Jim Croce, James Taylor, and The Beatles.
We are thrilled to have an event featuring ALL locals to the Stover area:
Jackson Fischer is returning to the stage on Saturday, Sept 14th following a wonderful show during our 5th of July Party. If you missed him the first time, make sure and mark your calendars for this encore! Jackson will be playing from 1pm-4pm
Hart’s BBQ will also be returning and serving food starting around noon.
Welpman Springs Brewing will be offering beers on the patio during the event as well!
Kick off your fall outdoor event season with Dale Hollow Winery and this “Taste of Stover”.
Fred Kennedy, a talented acoustic guitar player and singer from Cole Camp will be playing for us at the winery from 5pm-8pm on Friday, Aug 23rd.
This will be a casual evening of enjoying wine and music. There will not be a food truck but we will have local meats and cheeses available (as always!) and you are welcome to bring food.
We will be having a celebration of Independence at the winery on Friday, July 5th, and feature music, BBQ, and (weather dependent) fireworks!
We are THRILLED to have local musician (and long-time friend), Jackson Fischer, playing and singing a wide selection of rock and roll and country. He’s incredibly talented and we couldn’t be happier to have him at the winery. He will begin his first set at 6pm.
Food will be available by another local favorite, Hart’s BBQ! They will feature their usual dishes along with a few specialties. BBQ in the summer is quintessentially American and pairs superbly with wine and music.
Fireworks will begin around 8:50-9pm if conditions are favorable.
We do have tables and chairs available but we encourage you to bring extra chairs just in case. This event was a blast last year and we are looking forward to doing it again!
Cheers! 🥂 🎇 🎸 🍖
We will be closed on Independence Day, Thursday, July 4th, as we will be celebrating the holiday with our family. We wish you all a very happy 4th of July and hope to see everyone on the 5th at the winery from 6pm-9pm for our very own celebration featuring BBQ and music.
Who doesn’t love booze and bluegrass? Please join us and multiple other wineries and breweries for what promises to be an awesome event: wine and beer sampling! Tickets can be purchased at the event and a “poker walk” will also be offered with the price of the ticket. Music will be provided by a personal favorite of our winery, “Out on a Limb”. Dancing is free and encouraged.
Dale Hollow Winery will be open with normal hours that Saturday, noon-6pm.

It’s that time of the year again, for the most important fair in the world! Voted “Best Community Event” by Missouri Magazine and one that we Stoverites look forward to every single year, the Stover Fair is not to be missed. As in previous years, we will be offering tastings at the East Shelter House (“Beer Garden”) along with a few other wineries. Wines by the bottle will be available for purchase.
The winery will also be open with normal hours that day, but you will have TWO options for the location of enjoying Dale Hollow Wine!
Our June edition of Second Saturday (June 8th) will feature the smooth listenin’ of Me and Jim and their guitar prowess and the ever-popular offerings from Hart’s BBQ. Nothing says summer quite like BBQ, electric guitars, and cold wine.
Music will be from 1pm-4pm and food will be available for purchase at the Hart’s food truck next to the winery starting around 1:30pm. These guys are serious about BBQ and even make their own sauce!
A legend in his own right and Stover local, Jared Bellis (that’s “Mr. Bellis” to some of us here at the winery!) will be at Dale Hollow for a book signing on Saturday, June 1st at 2pm until he gets tired of talking. Also, before anyone asks, the title of the book is not related to Dale Hollow nor is it referring to vineyard work in July and August in Missouri, although it would be pretty applicable!
Here is all the background information you need to know from Amazon:
Jared Bellis is a 20+ year veteran of the public school system in Stover, Missouri. He is currently the Director of the After School program there. He is married with 3 kids, 1 dog, and 3 cats. In his free time he loves to read, play the occasional video game, and spend time with family and friends.
Jared just started writing novels and is enjoying the experience tremendously. His books are filled with dark humor, snarky dialog, and a few history lessons (sorry, been a teacher too long to make it all go away). The language is rough and irreverent but something he truly hopes people can enjoy.
He didn't start this to make money (although that would be nice) so much as because he enjoys telling stories. Hopefully you will enjoy reading them as much as he does writing them.

Please join us for our first of the “Second Saturday” series at Dale Hollow Winery on Saturday, May 11. We open at noon that day with a new food truck to the winery (PIZZA!), “Curbside Pies”, with bluegrass music from “Out on a Limb” beginning at 1:00pm.
Not only can you try our new wines, you can pair them with their most natural food companion- pizza! This is the first time we have featured this food truck and we are thrilled to have them and “Out on a Limb” is a customer favorite, so we are starting out the events this year in spectacular fashion.
UPDATE: This event was originally scheduled for March 9, but rescheduled due to rain.
Dale Hollow will be welcoming the Master Gardeners of the area to help lead a pruning festival. Starting first thing Saturday morning of the March 2nd, we will have “stations” at different points in the vineyards with instructors to walk you through the steps for pruning vines at various stages of development. Around lunch time, we will be finished and will gather at the winery for food and festivities. This event is open to the public but the food and drink is only open to those who attend the pruning workshop!
